As of late I’ve grown up a significant amount, I thought it was time to get together some more mature clothing, knowing soon enough I’ll be in internships, back at university and perhaps looking for more work, and although I’m not needed to wear office wear I’d still like to act my age a bit more.
From New Look I chose a floral co-ord with a mindset that A/W 2014 shows a lot of night floral collections, a more mature flower I feel this fits my personal style and still introduces enough colour into my wardrobe. To compliment this I’ve re-established my love for the boyfriend duster coat, a throw on essential showing a flattering pastel hue.
From SpyLoveBuy I’ve adored the cleated shoes that have been everywhere, begging to get my hands on some, throughout the entire website I could of endlessly put all of them but narrowed it down to my three absolute favs, I’ve seen so many remakes and renditions of the cleated soles and these by far are my favourite, their ranges are so affordable and stylish, they’ve carried forth throughout the year and definitely believe them to be a staple for the next few months at least. I chose three, one black, one white and one cutout, I’ve seen these on so many people and believe them to be a very versatile shoe.
Finally at Missguided I’ve rather been liking their holiday shop, showcasing a lot of hippie boho pieces in vibrant colours, I thought it was about time to jump on the hair garland band wagon, and may attempt to make my own, this piece at only £5.99 shows bold shapes without seeming overpowering and fits a lot of versatile hairstyles, for someone with thick hair that cannot wear hats, hair garlands are definitely the way forward! For quite some years I faded out the denim jacket trend but really like their printed and stitched jackets connoting a 90’s band patch vibe. This piece makes denim jackets fun for me again and cannot wait to get my hands on one. To conclude I picked a saddle bag, and must teach myself to carry smaller handbags and take only the bare essentials and with this alternative provides me with a dainty vibe that I can carry through summer’s hot weather and would look perfect with a lovely summers dress
