Now the evenings get dark sooner, the glittery dresses, fur coats and long lashes start to emerge at the cocktail parties. I think it’s only suitable that your eyes start to co-ordinate! I love a winter eye look more than summer infact, I love the dark glitter and strong bold looks that come out around this time of year. I thought I’d dedicate it to my favourite eye shadow palettes during what can seem like a cold and dismal period lurking between Halloween and the run up to the Christmas Holidays. They are an affordable eyeshadow palette, so hopefully you’ll make them your next stocking filler for a friend or a little treat for yourself!
Firstly is the W7 Angel Eyes – Jet Set Palette*, on the market for such a low price for what you pay, this gives a much more sophisticated and probably versatile palette next to the HD Brows, as this has a highlight and gold shimmer, I like to sport the dark grey silver colour quite a lot and found it’s the perfect smokey eye colour for all eye colours. I’ve been doing the smokey eye for years and have been insanely satisfied with the results this gave me! Definitely check our their range here!
Secondly is the HD Brows Vamp Palette*, the middle man of my priced palettes.
and ever since I’ve had pink hair I had been so hesitant over whether I should be approaching anything remotely similar in colour whether in makeup, clothes or accessories. But when I put these pinks and plums on my eyes it really made the blue in my eyes pop, I used it in my Boohoo Halloween Challenge and you guys on twitter went absolutely mental over this bold plum eye! The palette is a mixture of matte and satins, the mattes are great for everyday wear whilst the satins have a slight iridescence, I think this would be a very glamorous look for a New Years Eve Party, pigmentation, glitter, perfect in my eyes!
Last and certainly not least, I’ve had this for almost a year and you can see much I’ve hacked at it, it’s been my all time favourite, although what some said was too bright in the summer, I loved rocking a copper eye, I always have and was even known for a few years of solidly only sticking to my copper shades. This ladies as you all probably saw from the first photograph is my holy grail Naked Palette 2, this has been my statement re-purchase of the year and absolutely adore the pigmentation, long life and general shimmer when layered up of all the shades. The most expensive palette but certainly worth it in terms of value for money and per wear! My only sore point is trying to get the highlight to show up, as you can see I’ve dirtied if real bad which is lame as it looks stunning on people like my mum who isn’t quite as ghostly as I, and sports a more sallow skin tone.
I’d love to know what you think of these if you’ve ever tried them and if not I must insist you go out and give them a go, and make someone’s christmas with a cheeky colourful surprise that they can wear throughout the holidays!
