I had the chance to run to Manchester and see the lovely ladies of Rock On Ruby, as they celebrated in style their latest collection of gym wear just in time for the new year, hosted in the oh so snazzy tiki bar that is the Cane & Grain a cosy little cubby hole in the Northern Quarter near the Teacup, delicious ROR cocktails, that can only be summed up as christmas in a glass and little treats all around, this was certainly a night to remember!
I sported my lush black and gold sequin embellished front dress from Quiz, a staple at a christmas party, with my amazing wool lined Doc Martens from Shoetique, I love DM’s and as my feet get especially cold I knew once I saw the wooled lining they had to be my winter boot, they’re so comfy too and after a few days of walking around in heels I needed some TLC. I adored the collection, selecting my two faces, running shorts with #winner and a sweater with Kale on, I’m an advocate of kale, almost the connoisseur of kale and knew that this must be mine with all my being. All the rage is exceptionally diverse, all with such tongue in cheek statements.
It was so lush catching up with ladies over a drink, dragging along my boyfriend who’s always welcomed. A live Frozen makeover was one of my highlights, Pat did an amazing job, and really got everyone into the swinging festivities to come. I had an amazing time and spent the rest of my day in the Christmas Markets chowing down some hotpot before getting back into bed before I turned into a pumpkin.
