With summer literally round the bend, you’re no doubt scoping out the best bronzers for contouring, and that all important sculpted warm and healthy glow. These are not only suitable for dusting on the face but can be used on the body too, providing coverage whilst looking natural. Your go-to summer glow is here in a small handbag friendly compact and the ultimate solution for this season.
CLARINS INSTANT LIGHT RADIANCE BOOSTING COMPLEXION BASE
I sneaked in a liquid exception as I believe you have more control over a powder bronzer than liquid, but Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base literally gives you a warm and subtle glow in one pump. It can be used on its own as a sheer complexion clearing foundation or underneath makeup as a base. It’s light weight, great at colour correcting and brings out natural highlight in your skin to make you look radiant. Overall Clarins provide a fast solution to a 2 minute makeup routine and certainly the most natural.
BENEFIT HOOLA BRONZING POWDER
Next is the Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder, what better way to celebrate the Hoola Days (sorry not sorry!) with this personalised bronzer. It’s a lot more smaller than the others and comes with a small applicator which is the right shape for contouring the cheekbones, jawline and down the nose. For me it’s the perfect consistency, but I use sparingly as it can show up very noticeable on my pale complexion. Other than that I seriously recommend giving this a go!
CLINIQUE TRUE BRONZE PRESSED POWDER BRONZER
The bronzer I use most days is Clinique True Bronze Pressed Powder Bronzer it has a slight soft shimmer and I find the most buildable, and can be applied all over the body, this shade is Sunkissed, which pretty much sums up my thoughts on how I look when applied. Once again another bronzer that’s incredibly quick and easy to apply even by none expert contourers.
CLARINS AQUATIC TREASURES SUMMER BRONZING COMPACT
Last and certainly not least. Is the Clarins Aquatic Treasures Summer Bronzing Compact. The most expensive of the bunch, but a must have if you intend to invest in a summer glow. The palette is custom so you have four shades together to vary colour and different skintones, tested on pale skin they all come up warming but not too dark. I’ve used this on my body and creates an amazing ‘I’ve just stepped out the sun’ glow around my shoulders and chest whilst it being a completely matte formula. The palette itself is stunning to look at, the design is so incredibly intricate. You don’t wanna miss out on this as it’s investing in the art of beauty!
