Date night is my excuse to dress up and feel extra lovely when I’m having a weekend in, todays outfit has elements of new autumn/winter 2016 trends and a switch up of jewellery and tassel boots for an ultimate rock’n’roll date.
OUTFIT OF THE DAY
Turtleneck Dress * // Primark
Gunmetal Gemstone Point Choker Necklace * // Regal Rose
Native American Totem Ring * // Regal Rose
Snakeskin Boots * // Hush Puppies
Monday was date night, we swooned down to the East Village Arts Club for some Jambalaya followed by cocktails in the Jacaranda, two total favourites of mine.
I was feeling a more minimal outfit, with an edge of rock’n’roll. In fact this used to be one of my go-to outfits as my ribbed dress is stretchy and styled with either a statement jacket or just scarf made it re-workable to all my clothes.
I like statement jewellery and my necklace by Regal Rose with a carved crystal in the middle was perfect against my all black minimalistic ensemble. I love that its in a gunmetal colour something I think is going to be massive for autumn/winter trends. It’s got a modern twist of 90s with dark gothic elements such can be worked into festival looks for later for wintery dates. Check out their other chokers
I hadn’t worn my favourite Hush Puppies in ages and thought its time they make an appearance. I love the tassel on the ankle it makes me feel like a cowboy somehow and with Western trends taking over I forgot how much I fell in love with these boots.
My other favourite from Regal Rose is my new Totem Antique Silver Gemstone Ring which has elements of North American inspiration, there’s a choice of a few different gemstones and I love my moonstone as I find it’s more versatile for daily wear and reflects my birthstone as a Cancerian.
