Todays outfit has a lot of Almost Famous elements, Penny Lane was always a style icon for me, a lot of characters in movies generally are. I’ve always been a massive fan of the 70s trend, it’s build in me to like that era. I got my shearling jacket from Style Moi and it’s perfect for either sunny or cold days as its a thin-ish material but layerable, I’m all about the layers! If you’re channeling nostalgic elements into your everyday wear this jacket/coat is a must have for A/W and because it’s such a neutral colour it seems to go with so many items I have, versatile jackets always win!
Accessorised with some boho rings that have me summer ready to hit the festivals, I’m wearing a crystal ring from Euphoria Creations, I’ve had this for a while and its still a classic to pile on for that gypsy stacking ring look. As well as a new favourite… I’ve been a massive fan of Regal Rose for years, and got my hands on their Gemstone Totem Ring this is my go-to jewellery for summer 2015, I love intricate detail and cultural references and this ring was inspired by Native North America, which is always interesting when people ask about my jewellery. I love Regal Roses whole range right now, so check out their New In!
You’ve seen it probably a thousand times but I love reworking this blouse into posts, if you hadn’t noticed I’ve got an eye for small embroidery from my elaborate kimono wearing self to my small interesting rings, Sheinside did this Apricot Long Sleeve Dipped Hem Blouse, which is super flattering and my best piece for a hot summers day as I float in the wind!
Its been my goal to wear more white and brighter colours this year and a spell of light purchases has enforced me to wear white more often, sadly the day I got these jeans it was pouring it down and I got splashed by a car in a muddy puddle so I only got what was coming to me. Apart from that day I’ve been wearing my Ripped Boyfriend Jeans none stop, I love that slouchy fit it’s so effortlessly rock’n’roll and they’re so incredibly inexpensive, Boohoo I might add (what a bargain) Perfect to style up with a loose blouse like me or go minimalistic with a stripe top (post to come!)
Yes that is a white backpack from Primark, yes it is amazing! I’ve been using this to carry round everything during my meetings, jobs and everyday commuting, I found it when working with Primark back in April here I think its gonna be my festival backpack as it fits soooo much in, and as I recall it was no more than £10 bargain of the century!
Finally are my favourite shoes right now, I love comfort and looking great and the ability to get to places quickly as I am the speediest walker known to man, so I like shoes that do a bit of everything and these from Very certainly do the job, they’re from River Islands collection and I’ve loved anything with gold plates or gold toes on and the chunky sole makes them workable from day to night, even going on a few dates in these as dressy brogues. I definitely suggest you check out what else they’re offering in the New In page
