Rolling down the Rabbit Hole into the sweetest parts of Cheshire lies an Alice In Wonderland authentic tearoom, where I was treated to afternoon tea, champagne and catch ups from my best friend.
LOCATION: DAVENPORT’S TEAROOM, NORTHWICH, CHESHIRE
As part of my birthday surprise the fab singer Cal Ruddy and his family drove me down into the deepest parts of Cheshire with a towel over my head, told to wear something pretty and diverted midway being told to bring wellies – truly worried wearing my prettiest new flats. We strolled up for one of the best afternoon teas I’ve ever had.

The owner walked us through every selection on each tier, including where its sourced from, where the chef is from and how they’ve made it. Afternoon Tea level: expert!
We followed up after a couple of classes of bubbly to toast my birthday and education results and ended our experience with a pot of tea each.
I highly suggest you try the Green Flamingo if you ever get the chance, I tried some lavender tea also which blossoms into a garden when adding hot water (cup of tea above) which is a magical site. Their tea selection is the size of a small chapter in a novel, they certainly pride themselves for their variety.
Despite not knowing where I was going I sported a gorgeous white crochet dress from Izabel London, perfect for afternoon tea and cake. Styled with my favourite lace up ballet flats from Boden.
For accessories simple and beautiful was the idea. The peach and pink suede leather bag from Boden was the perfect choice for a day out. Styled with some jewellery from Jeulia and a mother of pearl watch from Klaus Kobec.
What do we think of this magical afternoon tea?
