Last night I was invited down to join Alexa Chung for her latest Nails Inc launch to host for Harvey Nichols for a meet and greet.
Despite being a tad late I got to see the astronomical queue that was to line up for Miss Chung and the antics to begin. A strong playlist of rocking tunes must have got her through so many amazing people with lit up faces!
I sported a very retro 50s ensemble going for pastel vibes and accessorised with simple touches like a delicate watch and polka dots, ideal for Harvey Nichols!
I asked Alexa how she felt about Liverpool and said that it’s a gorgeous city full of glamourous girls (and pointed to me woo!) and there wasn’t a better place than Scouseland to kick off her Christmas Polish Snowglobe.
Served alongside White Russian cocktails and gingerbread treats the festivities I can announce are in full swing. It lit up the first floor of Harvey Nichols and so wonderful to see so much support in the signing.

The polish itself needs to be shaken, and creates a flood of festive glitter, rich in its formula and it’s definitely Christmas in a bottle! It’s versatility of how its shaken creates a new consistency of glitter each time making it an ideal Christmas present, as you shake it lightly and a fine mist of glitter can be applied or a harder shake for sparkly party girls.
As a nice touch of the evening Alex was signing everyones polish, it was delightful to catch up since Fashion Week and see prominent fashion figures up north so I can only hope this is the beginning of a culture spike for such people.
