Stay in rock and roll heaven, having hotel room parties with the benefit of being able to explore a city and retreat back to paradise.

I went down to the Richmond to have an experience exclusive to me, and of course when there’s extra room to stay with a hotel room the size of half my house, it only seemed right to invite the squad to have a night of antics, and treat ourselves to a night of delight in the city.

Sporting a red fur coat, my lucky blue boots and a turtle neck it’s only Liverpools finest smart night out attire. Despite it being March it’s still cold by the River Mersey so I’ve been wrapping up warm in a sassy coat.
The Richmond is a slice of luxury, equipped with a running kitchen and living room. Lovely touches like the two gold framed tvs for ultimate entertainment, and dining room to snack around.
I decided to crack open some bottles of prosecco, and celebrate with my favourites.
Introducing to the blog the fabulous singer Dominique Daly, Liverpools finest music journalist Jake Marley, artist Cal Ruddy, Instagrams favourite mummy blogger Kimberley Cooke, and of course the infamous Jackobins drummer Patrick McGuinness (which you’ll all recognise time and time again)
We booked in for afternoon tea followed with bubbly, as only Scousers do on a Friday night.
The rest of the hotel is gorgeous, incorporating a juxtaposition of vintage Georgian decor with modern shapes, textures usually in silver, black and white it’s a beautiful palace of art, quirky designs that make the hotel seem very luxurious.
Our incredible afternoon tea included sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and champers with raspberries.
If you want cracking afternoon tea, the Richmond is for you.
They also do a vast selection of cocktails to sip whilst chatting to interesting characters at the bar, the place is always vibing with fun and personality.
I always say experiences are meant to be shared, so you’ve got to bring some of your closest, and they make you feel so very welcome, always being attentive to groups to make sure your luxurious night is going swimmingly.
Our party continued through the night hitting up the town. I really wish I made use of the kitchen to cook for a dinner party, but afternoon tea left us stuffed for the night.
But something on the bucket list we’re coming back to do, so this place is perfect for friends, family, clients, bring them all to the Richmond!
One of my favourite things about my room was the bathroom, the bath is huge, which put a massive smile on my face and all the yummy smelling products was a massive bonus especially for prep on a night out, you can definitely leave half your bathroom shelves at home.
We all slept so soundly and despite an early wakeup call for meetings, we chowed down a delicious breakfast with tea, coffee, juices and a selection of croissants, cereals, a full english breakfast which is a must try in this place, they do it the way a proper breakfast should be!
