There’s no way of describing a night in Liverpool, until you’ve experienced one. I stayed at Eurohostel the hip travellers club only a few roads away from some of the most happening places to go around town!
Eurohostel is the name on everyones lips as the go-to budget place in Liverpool for a kip, I stayed the night with the squad for a night of usual Liverpudlian antics, see how I got on…
LOCATION: STANLEY STREET, LIVERPOOL
Eurohostel only a stones throw away from the hippest part of town has shared rooms, where you and your group can sleep for a few nights with the comfort of being communal, with the best diversity of people all staying too! The Liverpool accommodation is the latest addition to the Eurohostel family where you can also stay in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle.
We got the VIP suite, where we had 6 beds (bunkbeds are always fun!), a living room corner and shower. It’s a big space to host a few guests, create some memories and have a grand time together.
The beds are really comfy, and even though we stayed up all night talking, had a fantastic night overall. Eurohostel is amazing for backpackers, shoppers who want to stop off, students, gig-goers and conference peeps. For the price you pay, a round of drinks works out more expensive than this place.
Eurohostel has a range of facilities including Wifi across the entire building, which was super speedy for all my blogging needs. 24 hour reception so night or day we can pop in for a chat. Vending machines all about the location for any midnight nibbles.
You can feel totally secure with storage boxes to keep all expensive items in, but you bring your own padlock, so you can feel at ease leaving laptops, phones and anything you cherish all tucked away.
Me and my blue boots felt right at home, it felt like I was a kid again hosting a sleepover. There’s The Hatch bar where you can grab a drink, and a bite to eat.
The Hatch is the ideal place to have a catch up with friends, with gorgeous purple chesterfield sofas everywhere, and TV’s to catch the football or the news it’s the ideal stop off whilst you stay. The Hatch is directly under Matthew Street so a few steps out the building, and you’re right in the middle of history from hitting up the Cavern or dancing off to the best Irish bars in town!
Eurohostel know how to treat their guests with quality food on a budget, offering a stupidly good deal of 2 people dining for £10 which includes 2 mains, and 2 drinks. Before we hit the town we had a couple of drinks in the bar and half the memories of that night were the super funny bartenders who shared our humour, that’s what I love about Eurohostel is that the entire building is so informal, so you can let loose and have a giggle.
They have such a huge range of food too, so all night you can grab some incredible grub!
Whether you fancy a full english breakfast – and the best ones are of course in Liverpool! Also an all you can eat buffet, salads, wraps, baguettes, burgers and even a plate of Scouse (a must try in town!)
They even accommodate food intolerances if you let them know before you stay so your soya coffee can be ready, and waiting for you any time.
If you fancy a cheaper night in Liverpool for some good entertainment and meet some interesting characters, give Eurohostel a go! Keep in touch with their current goings on at their Twitter and Facebook.
