It’s been bloody hot lately eh? I’ve been dreaming of an ice cold drink for days, so today I’m talking about the new hotspot on Bold Street, Liverpool for dreamy, creamy milkshakes and the best chicken wings in town!
Restaurant Pick Of The Month: Koop

Koop specialises in good chicken, where you can pick your flavour, creating more of a tailored experience to your dining. All the food is served at an incredibly reasonable price with all my favourite ingredients that suit whatever I fancy.
LOCATION: KOOP, BOLD STREET, LIVERPOOL
Me and my boyfriend decided to treat ourselves to some milkshakes to cool us down on the hottest day of the year yet, sat by the window and watching all of Bold Street heat up, we vouched for a Kinder Koop; a combination of homemade ice cream, Kinder Bueno and banana. A milkshake that you’ve got to try!
Whilst Patrick went for The Dodger – which tasted like a fruity sweet dream. The Dodger is made with fresh strawberries, homemade ice cream and a Jammy Dodger. So cool and refreshing for such sticky weather, their milkshake menu has people drooling and wanting another!
For food we wanted to explore parts of the menu, and to be very honest I wish my tummy was as big as my eyes as we had to get a takeaway bag and finish the rest at home. For the money you spend you get so much freshly made food that’s exceptionally clean in nutrition so gym fiends would adore this place!
We chose a New York burger, that was huge! My favourite combination of food that is chicken, cheese, avocado, tomatoes, onions and lettuce – truly scrummy! Whilst Patrick went for a pulled chicken wrap – Koop have a great choice thats tailored to your needs so one day if you fancy a burger or wrap of the same filling that can be accommodated – hell yes!
For sides we chose 10 chicken wings, 5 original buffalo and the other 5 sweet thai chilli. A caution the original buffalo is not for the tame, expect delicious but very spicy. I’m actually craving them again now. Also what meal isn’t polished off without some sweet potato wedges that are fluffy on the inside, all tossed in Koops special sauce!
I’m hoping to explore more of their menu as the thought of Rotisserie chicken has me drooling. We’ve still got desserts to explore too, word on the street is that their chocolate fudge cake has everyone talking!
