The Best Christmas Places To Shop And Eat In Liverpool

The holidays are here…

I absolutely adore when late night shopping starts and I can take a stroll around the Christmas markets for a bargain. I’ve been getting all my main shopping in Liverpool City Centre, as well as buying online. With tons of new and seasonal shops around L1 I’m always interested in having a nose around for some one off items I can fill my stockings with. Today I’ve given out my top places for anything and everything Christmas in Liverpool One.

YOUR CHRISTMAS TIPPLE

Bar Hutte

You might have noticed the large rainbow Christmas tree in the middle of the shops. Well you’ll be happy to know its back for a few more weeks where underneath you find Bar Hutte; a cosy wooden retreat where you’ll find a range of festive cocktails and beverages. You’ll spot me in there every time I’m out on a shopping trip, trying out some ski shots, or a Gin Hot Toddy – a serious must try before Christmas. At Bar Hutte they’re all about the party atmosphere, it’s never a dull day with the staff. You can get involved with their pub quiz and karaoke nights. Or if you want a good chinwag with some privacy of a festive playlist pop into one of their huts underneath the Christmas tree.

The Club House

Situated next next to Chaophraya, this new summer addition is here to stay. With the luxury of an old American white wood slat setting. The outside area filled with benches transports you to another place. It’s a mini getaway when you walk inside too! New to The Clubhouse is the Marvellous Marquee, the perfect winter retreat to warm yourself up with something hot and alcoholic. Serving up Hog Roasts, live music and Club House S’mores over the festive period, it’s a truly unique setting and the perfect prescription for a chilly winter night.

Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar

Not only is this one of the best shopping locations for beauty finds, with every luxurious product to behold, it also has one of the swankiest champagne bars upstairs. I’ve been a huge fan of Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar for a number of years as you can get your nails done, come out with some of the latest and best products available in the beauty world and top your productive shopping trip off with a glass of bubbly to toast with your friends. It ranks high on the luxe factor, I hung out with Alexa Chung last year so you’re bound to find some cool cats strolling about in BB.

LETS EAT…

There’s tons of restaurants in Liverpool but here’s a few of my favourites that have some winter warmers in between your dashes around town.

Cafe Rouge

Fancy some French cuisine? Cafe Rouge has a romantic and boutique setting is a beautiful place to sit whilst watching everything happening in Chavasse Park. Their new winter menu keeps you toasty with new additions like beef and onion soup, indulgent creamy deserts and the happiest service in Liverpool.

Las Iguanas

2 for 1 cocktails in Las Iguanas? Yes please! It’s a great pit stop for a few plates of tapas over a watermelon margarita.

Chaophraya

Tucked on the other side of Chavasse Park, is a new treasure to behold that is Chaophraya – check out what I wrote about it. It’s a Thai fine dining extravaganza to try out. With authentic Thai everything, the food will take you away to the other side of the world as you indulge in a journey through Thailands best contemporary food.

SHOP TILL YOU DROP

Urban Decay

Liverpool One has a huge variety of shops, that just keeps growin. With additions like Urban Decay opening up as of the 13th December – I’m still screaming!

Goldsmiths

Other key places to shop in Liverpool is Goldsmiths, opposite from John Lewis, they’ve just launched their extra shop space for Rolex. There’s nothing lovelier than window shopping for some deluxe watches.

I recently launched a collection with Gap a few months ago, and since we said bye bye to my final pieces being snatched up, they’ve brought out all their snug knit-wear, including a Gap striped jumper featured in my Perfect Christmas Present For Two post.

John Lewis

Fancy nipping in for a Christmas facial to rejuvenate the skin in time for Christmas? It’s becoming extremely popular to buy experiences instead of boxed presents. Clarins have their new spa section, where you can have massages, facials, and a variety of new cutting edge treatments. Clarins are found in John Lewis by Chavasse Park.
