Victoria Beckham X Estee Lauder
Here ye, here ye, the queen has released a makeup line in collaboration with Estée Lauder and it’s everything you need right now for party makeup.
So I was invited down to the Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar in Liverpool to try out the only (yes that’s correct, only) place that is supplying Victoria Beckhams makeup collection. As you can tell it’s a pretty big deal, and the products themselves are flying off the shelves, that are totally worth the song and dance I’ve been making them out to be all over my social media lately. If Posh spice is carrying them around in her handbag the rest of us need to try them out too.
The wonderful Caroline from Estée Lauder did my makeup for an important date night in town, Victoria’s collection comprises of two collections the London Look; intense black eyes, defined with liner, oil slick shadow, flecks of gold and nude polished lips. It’s her home, but also a blend of culture and edge. Also the LA Look; perfectly sun-kissed skin. Youthful skin, nude lined eyes. Fresh glossy lips. Victoria loved the energy, light and spirit of LA. As she states “Luxuriate in the warm, sensual glow.”
I opted for the London Look, my motto has always stood that a well crafted sexy intense black smoky eye can elevate your confidence, which is Victorias philosophy on her collection.
“I want to make women feel empowered, to feel sexy and confident. This makeup collection does that. I love to make women feel like the best version of themselves.”
The London Look
My look included using the advanced night repair serum full of hylauronic acid to hydrate and prep the skin. Whilst my foundation included the Double wear foundation is desert beige for a warm glow. Products from Victorias collection included the Morning Aura Illuminator – which is her must have handbag product! For highlight and contouring Caroline used the Saffron Sun Bronzer and Modern Mercury Highlighter.
My intense eye look comprised of the Black Myrrh Eye Shadow with Eye Foil on top to add intensity and shimmer. Lined with Eye Kajal Pencil blended outward to create an effortless smokey look. Finally finished up was the Nude Spice Matte Lipstick. This gave an intense and very edgy look to my makeup, so ideal for nighttime parties, and when you really want to wow with your eyes with a toned down lip, that is still everywhere lately.
