My Glorious Stay At Mercure Atlantic Tower Hotel

[dropcap]Y[/dropcap]ou might have seen I previously stayed in the Mercure Haydock Hotel on Penny Lane taking in their latest launch party to their renovation. I was kindly invited back, to trial out some of the best views of Liverpool, not only rated by myself but by thousands of TripAdvisor comments claiming it to be the dreamiest views – so I checked them out myself and was staggered by how jaw dropping the Atlantic Towers views were. The day was beautiful overall, having spent it in the hairdressers, running around town for meals and finally retiring to my deluxe room, all musically themed in hues of mustard yellows and black. I decided to head out to the terrace for an evening drink before my date night with Paddy having my own Titanic moment on the edge of the balcony gazing out into the Liverbirds. So let me walk you through my luxurious stay aboard the docks.

The Atlantic Tower is home to being a stones throw away from the best hotspots in town, whether you fancy a stroll down to Albert Dock to take in the River Mersey, I seriously suggest taking the ferry over to soak up the best of your journey around Liverpool. Or simply being close enough to hop on a train to the best destinations in and around Liverpool. This hotel provides a contemporary but classic approach to hospitality, I love that from every angle of the building your view is as stunning as the next. The Atlantic Towers unique selling point, is by far the view with little to no other hotels providing such up close perspective of the Liverbuilding – it’s serious architectural goals. With the fun fact that this part of town is where Wild Beasts And Where To Find Them was filmed, as well as many other blockbuster Hollywood movies for the gorgeous Georgian streets and history behind each road.

Hearty Breakfast For Nautical Stays

Liverpool is known for it’s impressive breakfasts, large and hearty – because we’ve always said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so carpe diem and drink it all in. Expect the whole kit and caboodle in the Mercure Atlantic Tower Hotel. I was treated to a self serving fry up, with one of my favourite indulgences… french toast, simply delicious. Whilst sipping in my orange juice feeling fresh and ready for my day of meetings, I took in the ferries and commuters heading to work from the Wirral and the sun rising over the Liverbirds. Utter bucket list goals.

Thank you to Mercure Atlantic Tower Hotel for my wonderful complimentary stay and breakfast. It was magical taking in the delightful sights from the docks for the night. The beds were incredibly comfy, and I indulged in taking advantage of their mini fridge throughout my stay. Jelly beans are always the cutest touch in a hotel room.
