Today as one of ambassadors for Liverpool, I’ll be chatting you through the biggest hidden gems within the Baltic Triangle area. I’ve selected three of my new favourite places to talk about – purely because they’ve been barely spoken about online and can benefit every local, or visiting personality in their aid of finding the best experiences throughout Liverpool.
First we started our journey off by grabbing a taxi from Liverpool City Centre which is a mere £3-5 depending on whether you get a specific company cab or black cab.

We started off our journey by heading to Tusk just on the edge of Cains Brewery, the colourful exterior invites you into a artistic atmosphere that surrounds you by a little art gallery, various workspaces with Tusk in the centre of it all. Home to busy artistic minds, passers by in need of a quick pick me up beyond city centre. Making Tusk one of the greatest hidden gems of them all, except for frequent artists, graphic designers, musicians and colleagues of the company. Potentially one of the most instagrammable places in Liverpool, and now within close proximity to the newly moved Sound City Festival.

Next up was Dockleaf, whom at StephiLaReine have spoken about beforehand on their Sunday roast Club. However this time, was to chat about the lunch menu. Both me and my photographer Jess hit it up in search of cocktails and the best sandwich in town. She opted for a Fish Goujon wrap with tartare, red onion & lettuce. Word for work quoted the “best fish finger sanwich, she’d ever have!” Both a bold statement, and a truthful one due to the variety of locations we’ve tried out.
Whilst I opted for the Dockleaf Chicken Club sandwich with bacon, tomato & lettuce. Both served with homemade chips, a side salad. Washed down with The Tempest; Spiced rum, pear, pomegranate, ginger beer and fresh sage and for myself; The Hugo Beefeater gin, Elderflower, prosecco, fresh mint and lime.
I made a booking for Ghetto Golf, just a stones throw around the corner, for a game of golf filled with neon glow in the dark signs, artistic creativity and a playlist to please everyone on a Friday night. Their venue filled corner to corner with unique places for photo opportunity, dance off’s and new cocktails to try. As every few holes in golf you’ll be surprised with a new bar that you can hire out for your party.
