[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hen you’re someone that loves to travel and explore the world, you might find that you’re forever planning the next thing. Even when you’ve got something booked in front of you, it might be the case that you spot somewhere else that you want to explore, and so you go off and start to research that too. The joys of wanderlust can often mean that your travel bucket list is forever full. But, when you have a lifetime in front of you, there’s plenty of time to get all of your trips in. But what happens when you’re lacking for ideas? Or you’re t really sure what you want to do next? Or, maybe you even have a free month or season and you want to do something with it? Then, you definitely need some inspiration.
Because that’s the thing about travel, it’s not always that easy for you to work out what you want to do, or where you want to go. Sometimes, even the thought of looking into a new trip just overwhelms you. Because a lot of the time, you need to do a lot of research before a trip to make it just right. And when you haven’t even narrowed things down, it can be really daunting. So let’s start by working out exactly what should be next on your travel agenda.
First of all, you might like to do a weekend away! If you’ve got a while to wait before your summer holiday, then it’s nice to be able to break that up a bit and go away for the weekend. You could do this at home or overseas, as long as you feel as if you’ve had a bit of a break to cut up the year.

As a bit of a step on from that, it might be that you actually want to do a staycation? The idea here is that you’re taking a break close to where you live or that you’re even being a tourist in your own town! You’re not meant to travel far, but you can still staycation in style in a luxury hotel and treat yourself. Sometimes, this is the welcomed break you need!
The next thing could be a city break. Now, this could technically be over a weekend but we’re going to spice up the idea and say that you’re going to do it midweek (it’s often cheaper) or even for an entire week. Because that way, you’ll get to explore more! The only thing is, this should be in Europe – to a European city that you’ve always wanted to explore! And then we have an oldie but goodie – the classic beach holiday. Because sometimes, for some of us, nothing quite beats the idea of hitting a coastline and soaking up the sun! Or maybe the wanderlust has hit you hard? When this is the case, you may find that you actually just really want to go off on a bit of a bigger trip? Maybe a week in Spain just won’t cut it? If so, then you’re going to want to consider where and how! Perhaps somewhere further afield in Asia is calling? Finally, it could be that you’re actually going to do a lot of business travel next? When that’s the case, you’re definitely going to want to make sure hat you’ve got your plans together and you’re well-prepared. Whether you travel for your career or with your own business, you’ll know that business travel can be quite fast-paced and hectic. There’s not always any down time. So if your first experience of business travel is coming up, you’re going to want to get organized ahead of time.
