If like many of us you are missing your spa days, relaxing in a sauna, having a massage and seeing a laser hair removal specialist, you are not alone. A spa day is a must in your everyday life, it’s a great way to unwind, destress and forget about your everyday worries. In the current climate, unfortunately, a spa break is a bit of a rarity with many spas closed whilst the pandemic is here. That doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself and put on a little spa break in your own home, below are four ways to pamper yourself at home.

Purchase Some Relaxing Candles

With any home spa break, candles are a must. Not only will they have your property smelling divine but they help with relaxation and de-stressing. Why not run yourself a bath, dim the lights and put some candles around the room. Play some relaxing music in your bathroom and lay there forgetting about your everyday worries. If you have a kindle, you could always purchase a new book that you can read. (Just make sure you don’t drop it in the bath)

Bath Bombs

To be included as well as your candles around the bath is a bath bomb. Bath bombs add that wow factor in your bath and smell great. Certain bath bombs are designed around relaxing, or de stressing. Plus they are really good for your skin and will have you feeling really soft after. There are so many different bath bombs that you can choose from, your bathroom will smell like a fancy spa in no time.

A Nice Bottle Of Wine

You may not associate wine with a spa but once you try it you will never go back. There is nothing more relaxing than lying back in the bath, reading a good book and drinking a delicious glass of red or white (whichever you prefer). Once out you can watch a good film and have another glass. Whether this is with your partner or you live by yourself, it’s perfect for everyone.

Indulge in a facial

No home spa break is complete without a good skincare routine. When planning your spa session, make sure you order a facial kit in advance. Depending on your preferences these kits include everything from face creams, toners and hydrating masks. Depending on your budget there is a whole plethora of options you can choose from. Some parts of the kit might help with removing any dry skin that you get.

Overall, it is important that you find time for yourself and relax during this pandemic. Whether it’s just a bath with a bath bomb, or you opt to get all the above, relaxing will not only help your mental health but also your physical health.
