Black Sheep Coffee
Black Sheep Coffee was established by Gabriel Shohet and Eirik Holth as innovators in their field, becoming the first chain to use speciality-grade Robusta beans instead of Arabica in 2013. Since its founding, multiple locations across UK and UAE have opened, as well as its first U.S store opening soon in Plano, Texas.
Plano location exudes modern Texan industrial chic with corrugated steel wall paneling, metal framed furniture and rough-hewn natural wood tabletops. Seating includes booths, bar stools and an outdoor 500 square-foot patio; potted greenery adds vibrant touches while graffiti-esque mural depicting windmill and oil rig silhouettes behind Texas Lone Star flag is sure to delight customers.
Black Sheep Coffeehouse features an extensive menu of hot and cold drinks, pastries, breakfast items and merchandise featuring their logo. A functional iced latte contains mushroom blend, marine collagen and Lion’s Mane to enhance beauty, gut health and mental clarity; guests can also purchase Glow Shots, Brain Shots or Gut Shots to add additional nutrition into their beverages – these shots can be added to any Black Sheep-branded iced drink and will soon be sold across their locations nationwide.
The Breakfast Club
Airports may not be known for offering quality breakfast options, but this London-based chain is changing that. Food and beverage operator SSP Group unveiled The Breakfast Club this month at North Terminal offering quality breakfasts at an accessible price point. Our morning menu, featuring popular street fare such as ‘The All American’ (pancakes with crispy bacon and not-so-American British sausage, homestyle potatoes, fried eggs and maple syrup) as well as our traditional English fry-up (The Full Monty), also provides vegetarian and vegan options. Before your flight, guests can relax with a coffee or cocktail and dine airside on Level 1. Take the escalator next to Wagamama or use the main staircase past Tortilla and Shakeshack; seating options for solo diners, duos or groups are available, with tables offering charging sockets for devices that need charging.
