5 years ago I probably wouldn’t be all that interested in half the things I am, people change and we lure towards trying new things, I’m all for trying something, opinion is based on trial and error. Certain things stick a lot more, and today I’m discussing my current beauty favourites, things that have revolutionised my life in small changes, and even saved me for when I get old. Let’s delve into Stephi’s health and beauty world!
Wouldn’t you agree at heart some things you have a natural bond towards? There are so many things I’ve been introduced to since the days of blogging and cannot thank other bloggers enough to showcase some pretty outstanding products, luckily we know live in an age where this infomation is widely available and anyone with an internet connection is open to all the resources of health and beauty, let’s start out with my first fave!
MAGNITONE LUCID FACIAL CLEANSING BRUSH
I used to think, slapping baby wipes on my face and a quick wash would lift all that gunk and dirt before I went to sleep would justify having a fresh, clean makeup free face. NO! How I was sadly mistaken, the first time I tried the Magnitone Lucid Facial Cleansing Brush I shocked myself how much product still stayed in my blocked pores.
In 60 seconds this magical brush uses 10,000 sensitive microvibration oscillations to de-gunk your face and neck. The device beeps for every interval signalling when to change to another area of the face. It has two modes sensitive and deep clean, about 90% of the time I keep it on sensitive as when I apply anything to my face it bursts into sensitive mode and flares up, so to others it’s totally cool to keep it on deep clean for a good cleanse.
A little note about the battery life on one of these babies, is that they seem to last forever, I’ve had mine for over 6 months and it’s only just ran out of juice from the initial charge when I first got it! Wowza! Now the effects of this device have not only meant I have a super clean and fresh face, but a smooth one too, I suffer from adult acne, it’s heriditory and a hormonal thing, meaning I’ve tried every lotion and potion and the none abbrasivity of the Magnitone Lucid has meant it’s soft, effective at cleaning and removing dead skin, dirt, makeup etc!
Another great pointer is that I feel moisterisers and creams sit nicer on my skin, and perhaps absorb better, which is great just before bed and putting a heavier cream on, because you know by morning it’s all absorbed hooray!
It was the obvious choice that I’d go for a pink, but they are also available in yellow, blue and green, so there is a colour for everyone! It stands out so well in my bathroom and people often ask about it! ANATOMICALS NOT ANOTHER ROUGH DAY PLEASE BODY LOTION
Anatomicals are a new brand I’ve been introduced to, they claim to rescue us from our boring beauty regimes with their witty names alone swooning me to adore both these products, it gives me a good chuckle reading the back, and its always the little things you appreciate the most.
There’s something about the smell of both products that sends me back to my childhood, that familiarity of Matey bubble bath (True 90’s kid!) Jelly Shoes and Polly Pocket, I don’t know why but its quite lovely and I love the ethics behind Anatomicals! All their products are cruelty free and not tested on animals, yay for free rabbits!
The Not Another Rough Day Please Body Lotion has a slight smell, not too overpowering and makes my body silky smooth, in fact I can’t stop touching my arms whilst I’m writing this, what I find with a lot of body creams is the residue left but fortunately there’s nout and I can apply it just before I head out and it’s not too greasy but leaves everything hydrated and smelling yummy.
As for the You Need A Blooming Shower! Your Nose Smells Rose Body Cleanser, it’s got the consistency of pink jelly, smells of Rose and Jasmine, leaving me smelling like a petal! I love it! The funky coloured bottles match the Magnitone, leaving my dull bathroom looking fun and colourful! They’ve got so many products that I need to explore check them out here!
NANO B TOOTHBRUSH
Finally a toothbrush, yes a toothbrush! The technology behind this has potentially saved myself from future dentistry work and a whole can of worms to dodge like gum disease and nasty bacteria. Let me elaborate on the Nano B ToothBrush.
I’ve got super duper incredibly sensitive teeth, my mouth has a tendency to bleed if I over brush, so I’m always careful what brushes I use. From my experience with electric brushes I’ve used my fair share and felt a manual brush was always my forte, I know my mouth more than anyone and knew from the second I used the Nano B toothbrush that my morning and evening routine would be so much better when I was told the toothbrush cleans itself every 6 hours and is resistant to airborne germs!
The head is a smaller than some toothbrushes to reach harder to get places, and employs the natural antibacterial properties to kill 99.9% of bacteria on your toothbrush. The bristles are soft and made up of 1,600 bristles with silver nano-particles. You may think why you would need an elaborate toothbrush but really the less bad bacteria in your mouth, the less likely you are to suffer with bad breath, bleeding gums and sensitive teeth.
