Our adventure continues in Henham Park, Suffolk as we see The Big Moon, Daughter, Chvrches and more on my birthday!
Diary Of Latitude Festival Day Two

I woke up bright and early at 6am, laying down in the sunshine until 9am with a birthday cocktail in my hand. I was simply enjoying the silence of the surrounding tents, secretly smiling it’s my birthday and I’m at one of the best festivals with my favourite person. The day was perfect!
I also shared my birthday with Pretty Flamingos Sally, so naturally there were to be cake and cocktails waiting for us in the arena courtesy of Suzy and Tom!
Our first act of the day was Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, who blew us away with known classics like SOB and I Never Need Get Old, the kind of band you walk into and discover thousands of people enjoying themselves, they’re so entertaining and I’ve grown to love them since Latitude. We also saw The Big Moon, who are setting high standards in the music scene with their grunge laden pop. We’re digging everything The Big Moon right now.
For a great majority of our weekend we were flittering between music and comedy, although we missed a lot of our favourites as they clashed we were howling when we got to see Reggie Watts flicking his afro about to tunes as we ran between stages.
I was mesmerised seeing Daughter in particular as I absolutely adore them, so we chilled out for a lie down on the grass to take in some sweet numbers.
The end of our night on the main stage was with Chvrches, who brought in an impressive crowd. The perfect birthday send off as every festival I end up accidentally missing them play, the say the least they were astounding!
But that wasn’t the end of my birthday adventures as we sat in Pretty Flamingo with more cocktails after closing for a midnight dance in the very brief rain, Latitude is magically lit up at night time, where the pink sheep have gone to bed but the midnight ravers come out. Day by day Latitude is getting more and more special with acts and tomorrows adventures entailed just the same!
