North West Fashion Festival was staged this year in the grand St Georges Hall in Liverpool. With a two day weekend of shopping, catwalks, live music and on stage tutorials, it was a bespoke event to not miss and hit the VIP front rows for.

Day One Highlights
Day one started off with a grand wander around St Georges Hall, and exploring all shops. NWFF gave its customers a wide variety to check out from Champagne bars to 3-D Lipo treatments. Throughout the day was much entertainment from X Factor singers, live on stage makeup tutorials and interviews with the best in the fashion industry hosted by Ellie and Jay from The Guide.
The shows included MD Productions, Keira Weathers, Nünude, John Lewis – Loved and Found, Beverley May Design, Miss Francesca Couture, Katie Hayes Make up Masterclass , Electric Hair London Masterclass, Darby Ward, a Lavish Alice Q&A, followed by Lavish Alice runway, X Factor’s Tom & Laura, Green Eyed Monster Couture, KU Spendlove, Girl Talk, Mode Mwah – Hannah Elizabeth, Sam Reece Collection and Prodigal Fox with Katie Salmon.
Day Two Highlights
The catwalk for day two were mainly orientated around childrens clothing – never have I smiled so much and applauded young talented catwalk models.
We saw the day open to up MD Productions Dance Troup, X Factor’s Tom and Laura, Tracey Millers Runway and Margherita kids.
Whilst with shopping breaks in between we continued with Leigh Taylor, Patty Fashion, singer Clare Sophia and runway by Lavish Alice.
After running around checking out the rest of the shops I returned for rest of the runways with; Mode Mwah, Kiss Frogs, Melanie Louise (a very special winter wardrobe), Girl Talk, Rebecca Mutch, Sam Reece’s Collection, Prodigal Fox with Katie Salmon and finally Melanie Louise Finale – Christmas Special.
The finale of the event went off with a bang of confetti, celebrating the best fashion event of the year in Liverpool.
Two of my favourite pieces included this blazer dress from Lavish Alice with open panels and a deep v-neck. Whilst my other hot piece of the weekend was this ruffle sleeve jumpsuit from Miss Francesca Couture with a lace bodice, flared leg and matching hue headpiece.

North West Fashion Festival year after year impresses with their diversification of stalls, models and designers. The weekend gives everyone a true taste of luxury, with the goodie bags filled up with vouchers, beauty products and tokens for some of the stalls. I’m already extremely excited for next years show and see what the team come up with.
Liverpool Designers To Watch Out For
For my fashion forecast I always round up my favourites of the season, so my key picks at North West Fashion Festival were Leigh Taylor, Lavish Alice, Green Eyed Monster Couture, Miss Francesca Couture and Becca M. Their overall vibe has a cutting edge perspective on new trends such as faux fur, cold shoulder party dresses and flares.
