THE COLOUR OF NOSTALGIA

THE COLOUR OF NOSTALGIA

The Colour Of Nostalgia

How was your Valentines Day? I had mine in for the first time. It was a great excuse to stay warm, eat hearty, tasty food and let our hair down. Absolute bliss if you ask me.

Todays outfit was inspired by my love for love. I recently wrote about what love means to me and how we could all do with a little loving. I’m still seeing through my rose tinted heart shaped sunglasses, since my impulsive celebration of love. So naturally we’re dressing in head to toe red. I’m currently loving all things nostalgic, including high neck 60s jumpers. I’ve been a fan of block colouring for so very long. It’s a timeless way of dressing, with a few twists – as per usual. I’ve mixed into my colourful rock’n’roll outfit with some star cigarette split ankle trousers, treasured red suede jacket and my distinguished pointed red boots.

Finally styled up with a gold strap watch from First Class Watches, a Charlottes Web spinning ring that I’ve been pairing up with almost every ensemble lately. It’s those little emerald touches that really have made my accessories dazzle lately, it is after all the Pantone colour of 2017. So despite Christmas being over, I’m still rocking red and green as the 80s trends are pouring into spring summer. I’ll be outlining makeup trends to go with these vintage times in the not too distant future, crack out your green eyeshadow and neon brights.
