The back of Berry Street holds a quirky independent bar called Mojo.
Music for the people, food for the soul and good times forever.
I headed down to my favourite location in the whole of Liverpool to dine where I dance on tables at 3am to try what I think is one of the best burgers in the North West.

Mojo is every rock’n’roll lovers home both during the day and night. Food for the soul.
Usually it’s our calling for a night out, mixing up Arctic Monkeys with Van Halen, it’s stupidly cheap for a drink about £3ish for Sailor Jerry and Coke. But today we were in to try their menu of highly recommended burgers. I got The Chicken which at a reasonable £7.90 you get two chicken thighs with jack cheese and finished with Mojo’s famous Luisiana No 1 Hot Sauce served in a brioche bun. I’m a sucker for an amazing burger with the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had out for a mere £3 more.
Guin got The BBQ, which smelt like a total dream, which is a beef patty with bacon, swiss cheese and BBQ Sauce, and likewise with another cheeky portion of sweet potato fries. Mojo calls for rum…naturally so a sailor jerry and coke on the rocks was a must must must.
Choice of music is never dissapointing, luckily we got in when they’d just opened so it wasn’t too packed and loud so I could sway along to Love Cats by The Cure whilst slurping my drink, my idea of heaven.
Are you drooling cos I am knowing I could eat this all the bloody time! The whole place just epitomises old rock’n’roll with posters of every rock band known to man. I know this won’t be my last post on this place, and it definitely made me think about eating here more often instead of dancing on the tables at 3am screaming to Pulp.
Todays ensemble was inspired by the 50’s, sporting an off the should crop top by the wonderful Long Tall Sally, also spotted on another tally mega babe Karlie Kloss and a metallic skirt from them too, perfect to swing around. The choice for shoes was my lace up metallic silver brogues by Spartoo. Finished with a simple backpack, my fave from Primark. I think this is a great outfit for date night as I like to cover up and show off one thing, today was shoulder day and my collar bone game was strong.
Until next time Mojo and your crazy antics!
