Wirral Rocks With The Libertines

[dropcap]A[/dropcap] wave of joy and excitement flew over the Wirral as news struck that the bodacious and rebellious band The Libertines was hitting up the famous Tranmere Rovers football stadium. I’ll be going to party it up for that weekend in the run up to Sound City. I frequently cover them on my festival list as they are the band of now to go to. Tom from Kasabian arguably said The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian were the last indie bands of this time still touring, working on new albums and refining themselves in this ever-changing music industry. It’s going to be radical to see them covering an event over the water and simply un-misable in a gig that is both seated and standing. I’d coincide Wirral Rocks with visiting the local restaurants surrounding with it only being a short taxi ride from Liverpool City Centre.

In addition to this lineup, we also have Madness playing on the 19th May, supported by The Farm and Courts. The 20th alongside The Libertines will see The Coral and Reverend & The Makers. Finally for day three will see the pop group Little Mix, Conor Maynard and Bronnie for a celebration of chart music. Each day being tailored to compliment the next band. I’ll be going to Saturday 20th May having a hospitality themed day so I can soak up all the festival vibes, so keep a watch out on my Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat for everything Libertines themed.

So see you in the stadium at the front yes? Wirral Rocks tickets are available in seated, standing and hospitality (which are seriously cool to make a full day out of the event)
